Time to put your feet up

We are pretty lucky here at Chez CraftyWaffles to have a big sunny master bedroom and we've been working on making a little reading corner. I have had an antique wing back chair (thanks eBay!) for the past year or so, but it's not to comfy for reading because your feet are too low.... so while trawling the isles of one of our favourite stores we ran across this little sweetie.

Paired with our wingback and a reading lamp doesn't it look like a nice corner to curl up in with a good book?? We have some plans for this couple- involving sandpaper (bye bye orange-y varnish) and new fabrics. Mmmmm I can't wait, it looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship :)
